Our Vision:

The National Procurement Institute aims to be the leading center of excellence and catalyst for national public procurement professionalization in Afghanistan, for both public purchasers and for our stakeholders who engage with public procurement process or issues in the course of their work.

Our Mission:

The NPI’s mission is to provide certified public procurement skills and knowledge training to professionalize the skills of public purchasers, their private sector suppliers, and the next generation of procurement professionals, to further the NPD’s strategic capacity building goals and support the attainment of spend priorities set by the Government of Afghanistan.

Goal of the NPI:

To achieve the NPI’s vision, and deliver its mission, the National Procurement Institute will pursue the following Goal: The NPI will build a culture of procurement learning across Afghanistan that promotes a competitive business environment founded on the four pillars of a prosperous society: a sustainable economy; public service delivery excellence, a business environment free from corruption, and public confidence in the Government’s ability to deliver on its plans.
