Private Sector Accessible to all Portals of AGEOPS after Account Creation

KABUL: Today, Sunday, April 24th, 2024; the electronic procurement system development team of the National Procurement Directorate (NPD) conducted awareness training for 11 contractors on the Afghanistan Vendors Registration and Classification System (AVRCS) of the Afghanistan Government Electronic & Open Procurement System (AGEOPS); here at the NPD Conference hall. During the session; NPD employees provided detailed information to participants about various systems under the Afghanistan Electronic and Open Procurement System (AGEOPS); including the Afghanistan Procurement Plan Management System (APPMS), Afghanistan Contract Progress Monitoring System (ACPMS), Afghanistan Electronic Tendering System (AETS) and the AVRCS and it was emphasized that vendors can utilize all portals related to AGEOPS after creating accounts in the system. A presentation was delivered to contractors on creating user accounts in the system and encouraging them to register their companies in the AVRCS to facilitate access to procurement plans, project announcements, and tender documents of the country's procurement entities. The AVRCS plays a vital role in expediting the procurement process, fostering consortium opportunities, promoting sustainable development through participation, evaluating company capabilities, ensuring fair competition, and enhancing the professionalism of participating companies.
