KABUL: Today (Monday), Jan 20th, 2025; 30 procurement employees from 22 procurement entities (PE) and governmental companies received training and awareness about the new features of the Afghanistan Procurement Planning Management System (APPMS) of Afghanistan's electronic and open procurement system (AGEOPS); here at National Procurement Directorate (NPD) conference hall. As per the agenda; a presentation was delivered on AGEOPS vision, mission, road map and emphasizing the importance for Procurement Entities (PEs) to register their procurement plans in the APPMS, and a sample of projects was shown to them practically. At the conclusion of the program, officials from the governmental companies and PEs were evaluated regarding their understanding of the APPMS. They assured the NPD of entering their Plans into the system and pledged further cooperation.#
